This morning I received an email that a comment needed approval. It was Spam, some automated thing. The setting that new comments require approval worked — I received an email, and did not have to discover it personally. Long term, more than one person could be registered to approve or disprove comments. This will allow comments to be entered, and the legitimate ones add to the website, without cluttering things up.
